My night time skincare routine

My Night Time Skincare Routine

Hey guys! I’m finally back with a new post, after so many weeks without uploading 🖥. I don’t have any excuse but I will say that I was extra busy with exams and then I was enjoying summer with my family and my boyfriend. But I am back and will be uploading every Wednesday at 18:30 GMT +1 ⌚️

I’m so excited to be bringing you guys today’s post because you have been requesting it for weeks now, I am here to listen and deliver what my audience wants to see, so let’s not waste more time and begin 😍

First, I always start by washing my face with my Shiseido Vital Perfection Cleansing Foam. It is a very creamy and light formula, that helps to get rid of impurities and pollution that has been trapped in the skin throughout the day. I also use my spinning face brush 🖌 to make sure I get a deep cleanse that my fingers 🤲🏻 would not be able to achieve alone.

Then, I go ahead and use my Byphasse Rose Toner to make sure all the dirt has been removed from my face and there is nothing left on it so my serums, oils and creams soak into the deep layers of my skin. For this I just grab a cotton pad 🌸 and pour a little bit of the toner on it, rub it on my face and neck. There always is so much dirt left on my neck from all of the pollution in the air, it is unbelievable!

Now onto my “skin medicine” 💊 as I like to call it. It obviously isn’t any type of medicine for my skin, but it is made to treat oily and damaged skin. I have an oily T-Zone and dry skin around my face, so I need products that keep my oils under control but are also hydrating, I also have some acne scars on my cheeks from when I was 14-15 and suffered from hormonal acne. Currently I thankfully don’t have any active blemishes but do have bumps on my skin which are from both sebum and pollution, this is why I make sure I don’t touch my face often and have such a deep and “strict” skincare routine, to make sure I am giving my skin everything it needs. 🤩

This is my Glycolic Acid Toning Solution, what this does is help to diminish the appearance of pores and control oil production. A little bit goes a really long way hence why the bottle looks almost full and I’ve been using it for over 6 months now. I just put a few drops of this toner on a cotton pad and rub it on my T-Zone and a little bit around my face, just because that is the only area in which I have pores that need a little bit of help is my T-Zone 👱🏻‍♀️.

As I was saying before, I need a thorough cleanse for my face in the evening because I also wear makeup 💄 often either for the purpose of filming videos for my YouTube channel but also when I go out with friends or family or simply I’m feeling playful and I want to mess around with some makeup. But even if I’m not wearing makeup, I live in a big city 🏙 and pollution 🌫 is an obvious contaminant for the skin, I try to wear pollution blockers but it is clear that they can’t protect the skin 100%. Also I must set a DISCLAIMER, these products and steps for my skincare routine work for ME personally, but it doesn’t mean that it will work for you, everyone’s skin is different and you need to do your own research 💻 and testings on what works best with your skin.

So now that we have our face squeaky clean and we have applied our Glycolic Acid, we are moving onto Salicylic Acid, this works as a peeling agent and what it does for me is peel away the acne bacteria and accumulated oils on the deep layer of my skin, after applying it I like to rub my face with a cotton round to make sure that the excess bacteria and oils get out of my face.

Now I apply my Lactic Acid, this is probably my most favourite step of my skincare 😍 When I apply it I can see the results straight away, and what it does is, blur out pores and help acne scars fade away. It does wonders for my skin and I seriously cannot skip this step. But I will say that if your skin is a little bit irritated, I would highly suggest to skip the Lactic Acid that night, because it will tingle and even burn a little bit if your skin is irritated before hand. ‼️

Also, I wait 3-5 minutes 🕐 in between each product, just to give them time to soak into my skin and work their magic 🧙🏼‍♀️. I’m always playing music so I will just sing and dance while I wait 🤣😛

After letting the Lactic Acid soak in, I like to apply my Retinol in Squalene, this is an oil. I know there is this myth that many people believe, if you have oily skin you are not supposed to apply more oil to it, but I find this to be completely untrue for my skin. I don’t apply more than one oil but this, is the best one ever, and I find that it helps balance my skin oil. When I put this on, the next day I don’t produce as much oil as I would before using it. So this is 100% a ride or die for me. Retinol also boosts the production of collagen on the skin cells so it makes you look more radiant, plump and healthy.

We are now reaching the serum part. For my serum I swear by my Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair. It is packed with vitamins and is like super food for the skin, it leaves you a glowy and healthy looking skin. 🌟

As you might have noticed, I still haven’t applied any product to my under eyes, this is because I personally don’t like eye creams as I find them to be very thick and I like to use a Caffeine Solution ☕️, it helps to de-puff the under eye and also hydrates the skin.

To finish off for my skin creams, oils and serums, I use this Polish face cream that has Vitamin E on it and it is amazing for the skin. 🔆

Barwa Siarkowa, Facial Cream

This step for me is optional, I only like to apply Tea Tree Oil 🌳 on my blemishes, and only on the blemishes when I get some. I find that it dries out my skin quite a lot and therefore make sure to only apply it on the affected area. ‼️

Aceite del Árbol del Té

To finish off (and I must admit that this is a very EXTRA step, but I am EXTRA so might as well 💁🏼‍♀️) I like to spray my face with a Hydrating Facial Mist just to refresh and further hydrate.
